Our client, a forward thinking and dynamic organisation has a vacancy for a Clinical or Registered Psychologist to Provide evidence-based low and high intensity psychology services. This is a new role to undertake targeted assessment and therapeutic interventions  to meet  the needs of residents of Aged Care Facilities. Working across different Aged Care Facilities you will be delivering interventions including, but not limited to, face-to-face and group therapy.The role: General Provides evidence-based therapies e.g. behaviour therapy, systematic intervention, counselling and psychotherapy to designated residents in Aged Care Facilities. Undertake specialist psychological assessments to appraise cognitive, emotional, behavioural observations, psychometric assessments, psycho diagnostic assessments, and evaluation of systems to develop interventions and treatment plans. As part of the multi disciplinary team working with GPs and Family members regarding ongoing treatment and management.Creates and maintains client notes, records and correspondence with GP's and other medical and Allied Health professionals. Participates in the team activities, including peer supervision, clinical and administration meetings. General AdministrationMaintains records in accordance with policies and procedures. Practicing in accordance with relevant polices and adheres to governing legislation including the WA Mental Health Act 2014. Governance, Safety and Quality RequirementsParticiaptes in the maintance of a safe work environment.Participates in an annual performance review.Supports the delivery of safe patient care and the consumers experience including participation in continuous quality improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognized health standards.Performs duties in accordance with Direction Psychology program specific polices and procedures.Abides by the WA Health Code of Conduct, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, the Disability Services Act and Equal opportunity Act.
