You will be integrated with the school community as a valued and much needed professional resource and a vital link between the school, the family and other service providers in the community.This role provides autonomy and is backed up by clinical supervision and multidisciplinary support to assist you in developing your professional skills and knowledge base. This role provides the option to work only during school terms and enjoy the school holidays. Referral numbers are fully supplied by our referral process. Therapy is provided via a combination of funding including Medicare better access to mental health and NDIS.The successful candidate: You will need:Professional registration with your governing body AASW or AHPRA. At least 2 years post-graduation experience in a Mental Health related role(s).Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number. We will provide assistance if accreditation is needed.The ability to develop positive relationships and trust within an education and multidisciplinary setting. To be confident in your ability to provide therapeutic interventions to young people and their families and other professional service providers. To provide practical steps for coaching and mentoring education professionals with the goal of enhancing therapeutic outcomes.This is a terrific role in a supportive friendly environment.
